Nari Uddug Kendra, which translates to the “Center for Women's Initiatives” is a 17-year-old non-governmental organization mandated to promote gender equality, human rights and personal empowerment of women and girls in Bangladesh.

 

NUK is headquartered in Dhaka with regional offices throughout the country, and its programs operate in all of Bangladesh 's 64 local districts.

UNICEF employs passionate and committed people who want to help build a world fit for children. There are over 57 million children in Bangladesh. That’s more than the entire population of the United Kingdom. Although Bangladesh has a stable and growing economy, half of these children continue to live below the international poverty line. UNICEF's work in Bangladesh include Education, Health & Nutrition, Protection, Water, sanitation and hygiene, Communication for Development, Communication Advocacy and Partnerships (CAP) and Emergency Response.

BRAC

BRAC, an international development organization based in Bangladesh, is the largest non-governmental development organization in the world. BRAC has organized the isolated poor and learned to understand their needs by finding practical ways to increase their access to resources, support their entrepreneurship and empower them to become agents of change. Every year, BRAC receives many requests from interested candidates who want to work as interns and volunteers within the organisation and learn from its activities and approaches.  The objective of BRAC’s internship and volunteering programme is to offer a chance to gain exposure to the operations of various BRAC programmes to local and international people.
